Who would have ever dreamed 20 years ago that you would have to go through a checklist with “believers” who are in the “church” to find out if they are really the “Christian” they label themselves to be; or have a check list to go over in order to learn if a particular “Church” is a truly a Church? The Ecumenical and Emergent movement will bring forth the one world religion, it is alive and flourishing and has moved quickly into deceived churches. No longer are churches holding to the fundamental beliefs of the Trinity, Jesus being God in the flesh, Jesus being the only way to salvation, and churches no longer go out to spread the Gospel. Why? They say, “That is too divisive”. Did Jesus worry about being divisive? Did Jesus sit silent when He heard false teaching? Did Jesus ignore sin so He would be accepted? What of Paul? When Jesus first began his ministry Mt 4:17 says, “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. So why are today’s “churches” avoiding the words sin, repentance, the Cross, judgment and hell? It would have been unthinkable twenty years ago to go to a Church and ask for their Statement of Beliefs and NOT see that “we believe in the infallible inspired Word of God”, “we believe that salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone”, “all men are sinners in need of a Savior”….no today, you read…Our Church exists to: Invite people; Nurture them with Christ's love and the Word of God; Send them out to serve others. Serve? This is a Social Gospel and NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it does NOT save anyone.
Sadly today, the Emergent movement like a cancer has spread through the body and the church and is rapidly abandoning the fundamental beliefs that have been long held by the church and it has lost all sense of discernment. Today, wolves in sheep’s clothing have entered the church and birthed a social organization; please do not call it a “church”. Instead of being given the Gospel, you are given a Spiritual Gifts test so you can find where your talents lay and you can be used to “serve”. Service at the expense of the Gospel, why? Because that turns people off, we’ll just love them into the kingdom. Folks, if you are in this type of a “church” you are “loving people to hell”.
The Ecumenical movement has come right alongside the Emergent’s, and with the absent Bible teaching and true Gospel not being preached, people are ignorant of the Word and are accepting these doctrines of demons. Today it is “experience” over “substance”; “service” over “salvation”; and doctrines of men over doctrines of God and it is “man centered” not “Christ centered”. The trappings of the Roman Catholic Church are being brought in. Look at the false idolatry of Eucharist worship; even mixing what WAS Holy Communion with “Eucharist Services” and even mixing this service with U2 (Bono) Music. Folks, this is not Christ’s communion, this is the promotion and raising of monies for the United Nation Millennium Project under the banner of a false christ. Is this glorifying to God? Absolutely not! The UN is an anti-God, anti-Semitic organization and the Church has NO business joining hands with them, and the church should not be deceived into thinking that Bono from U2 is a Christian and that he, or Rick Warren and the RCC’s ecumenical social program will save one soul or usher in the kingdom of God. Can a Christian believe that Jesus is NOT the only way to heaven? This is what happens when people stop holding to the fundamental tenets of the Christian faith and trust in men and “emotion” over God and the Holy Spirit. Emotions are deceiving. A warm fuzzy feeling does not equal truth. Satan would not be too successful if he brought a destructive heresy that made you feel “bad”, he brings one that makes you “feel good” so you think “it can’t be bad”.
The Bible warns that in the last days, men will depart from the faith and apostasy will take over. We see this today and we need to shout from the rooftops, “return to God”. It is no wonder that Jesus is seen outside the church, knocking and asking to be let in. The Church of Laodicea is lukewarm, wretched, poor, naked, and blind and is flourishing today. The Church’s “mission” is to spread the Gospel so souls can be saved. God does not honor “works” that are done in His name, but absent the Gospel. When the Gospel is lost then the Church has lost her savor and is no longer a light in a dark and dying world and God will pluck them up by the roots and they will be twice dead.
Before the Book of Revelation, is the Book of Jude. Jude wanted to write about our common salvation, but he didn’t…the Holy Spirit impressed on him that it was necessary to exhort the Church to contend earnestly for the faith they were once delivered. He warned that certain men had crept in unaware who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Jude says, “They mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage”, such are the Rick Warren’s and Brian McLaren’s and the Emergent movement with their social gospel today.
The Holy Spirit gives believers discernment, but somewhere many have stopped exercising it. Please, I pray for everyone to look where they stand, look where your church stands and if it is not in line with God’s will…repent and turn. Time is short, we all will stand before God and give an account, do you want to stand there and say, “But I meant well”? This is NO time to compromise, time is short and soon Jesus will call His pure Bride home and judgment will fall on a Christ rejecting world.
Jesus says, “Pray that ye be worthy to escape all these things what are coming upon the earth”. Jesus is the only way to salvation, they only way to escape. He is the Son of the living God, born in the flesh, crucified and died for our sins on the Cross, He was buried and rose again on the third day. He is coming again, in judgment, be sure of your eternal security. Be sure to share the full Gospel with the lost. It does no good to fill bellies and clothe the poor if you are not presenting the salvation message of the Gospel with them. They will be eternally lost and you will be held to account. The Church does not need to do a “bait and switch” or use tricks to get people into the Church. God demands that we present the Gospel to a lost and dying world and to leave the rest to Him. I pray for the Church daily…please, take this message to heart, evaluate your position with Christ, evaluate the Spiritual health of your Church, do not fall for the social gospel, it does not save anyone. Do not compromise with the Word of God. God will judge your works, and only those works that have eternal value will be rewarded, all others will be burned up like chaff. The infiltration of Rome into the Church is an aberration to God and it is all over the Emergent movement and it is leading to the one world false religion of the last days. Remove yourself from such, put on your discernment caps and get into the Word and profess the Gospel at every chance you get, time is truly short.
